a Producer & Consultant based in Los Angeles. I currently freelance for NBC's TODAY Show as well as a handful of start ups.
More about me
I am a 3-time Emmy-winning producer with 15 years of experience producing for the top morning show in the country. After learning the ins and outs of live production and breaking news early in my career, I transitioned to feature, entertainment and brand-integrated storytelling. I have produced everything from live interviews, concerts and demos to taped packages and remote broadcasts. After 4 years as talent producer for "TODAY with Hoda & Jenna," I transitioned to freelance producing and consulting for NBC News and early stage start ups seeking content strategy, business development and partnerships.
What I Do
Writing
I write detailed prep notes, questions, bullets, outlines and package scripts for various types of production.
Talent Prep
I work with talent of all experience levels to prepare for on-camera appearances, both live and on tape.
Research & Gathering
I do deep dives on story topics and subjects, gathering background information, searching archives, and finding and clearing video, photo and music elements needed for the final product.
Brand Sponsorships
I work with clients to brainstorm and execute stories that spotlight and illustrate brand initiatives and messaging.
Field Producing, Scripting & Editing
I work with production crews in the field to shoot interviews, B-roll and stylized elements, then script stories and work with editors to deliver the final product.
Pitching
I research and pitch story ideas including guest experts, profiles and features, and trending topics.
